PIZZA · IN THE FRIDGE
3–4 days
Three to four days in the refrigerator. USDA lists pizza on its own line in the leftovers section, at three to four days — the same as any cooked meat dish, which is effectively what it is.
The part that actually matters is the two hours before it gets there. A box left out overnight is not a three-day pizza, it is a discarded pizza, and refrigerating it late resets nothing.
These are quality windows drawn from published USDA food-safety guidance — an estimate of how long food stays good, not a safety date. If the package carries a printed use-by date, that date governs.

By storage method
- In the refrigerator
- 3–4 days
- In the freezer
- 1–2 months
Near the end of the window?
Freeze the slices; one to two months. Wrap them individually, because a frozen stack has to thaw as a stack.
Reheat in a dry pan rather than a microwave if the base matters to you. Neither method changes the window.

Ranges are as published. Treat the short end as your real window — grocery produce is already days past harvest, and a cooked dish starts its clock at the stove.
Looking up your groceries one at a time is a hobby. A bad one.
Savery scans your grocery receipt and tracks these windows for everything you bought at once. The spinach, the strawberries, the milk you forgot about — all on one shelf.
